Are you familiar with how to use a computer? If not, now is the best time to start. Over the past several years, I met scores of people that have a resistance to using computers. Believe it or not, after all of these years there still remains an underlying fear and misconception in people's minds about technology. There are hundreds of people on the planet that do not even have an email address. Email is one of the most primary functions (and benefits) of using a computer. Daily, I often wonder how we functioned as society before the mass use of computers. From email to instant messaging and from chat rooms to Face Time, the methods in which we communicate globally have drastically changed. Thanks to the necessity and popularity of smartphones, the number of people becoming less intimated by technology is increasing. In this section of Write Press News, our goal is to introduce books, magazines, websites and any medium that will educate our readers about advancements in technology. We plan to feature topics on network security, cloud computing, communication hybrids, software trends, desktop basics and much more. Check back with us frequently for weekly updates.
