Are you interested in learning the core principles of computing? If so, here is your chance to learn foundational computer skills, at a convenient pace, without paying a dime. Harvard University Extension School (HUES), one of the top Ivy League institutions in the U.S., has compiled an intensive virtual learning series teaching basic computer science. Classes taught by my favorite instructor, David Malan, Ph.D., are facilitated in an easy and understandable format.
Classroom lectures are uniquely positioned so external viewers can observe the instructor, take notes off the whiteboard, and hear questions from students physically participating in the class. Students that love to write computer code will appreciate the detailed breakdown of topics such as Binary Codes, Loops, C Objects, PHP, JavaScript, and much more. Each course is recorded in a variety of digital formats to support every browser and computer platform. Keep in mind that there are not many places where such high quality training is available at no cost. I encourage all Write Press News readers (especially if you are unemployed) to take advantage of this awesome opportunity to increase your knowledge base and make yourself more attractive in the career marketplace.
